Returns & Refunds
Version 1 · Last updated 5 October 2026
We hope you love your LAITH pieces. If something is not right, this policy explains how returns and refunds work. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
Change-of-mind returns
For most products bought online, you have a legal right to cancel. You may tell us that you wish to cancel at any time from placing your order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. After telling us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within the following 14 days.
To start a return, use our online returns form or contact info@laithathletics.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. You don't need an account.
Condition of returned items
You may inspect and try on an item in the same way you reasonably would in a shop. Please take reasonable care of items while they are with you. Where handling goes beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and fit of the item and this reduces its value, we may make a deduction from the refund to reflect that loss in value where the law permits.
Please return items with any original tags and packaging where reasonably possible. Missing packaging or a removed tag will not, by itself, remove a statutory cancellation right, but damage, wear, washing, staining, odour or other excessive handling may affect the amount refunded where legally permitted.
Return postage
For an ordinary change-of-mind return, including a size or fit issue, you are responsible for the cost of returning the item. Where LAITH offers a prepaid return label, you may choose to use it; any charge for the label is shown before you confirm the return and is deducted from your refund.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described, or we sent the wrong item, you will not be required to bear reasonable return costs where the return is our responsibility.
Please keep proof of postage until your return has been completed.
No direct exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different size, colour or product, return the original item for a refund and place a new order. Stock is not reserved while a return is in transit or being processed, so you may wish to place the new order as soon as possible.
Refund timing and method
Refunds are made to the original payment method. Where you exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or, if earlier, 14 days after you provide evidence that you sent them back. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of return, where the law allows.
Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to show the refund after we have issued it.
Original delivery charges
Where you cancel the whole order under your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the standard outbound delivery charge where required by law. If you chose a more expensive delivery method, we are only required to refund up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. If you return only part of an order, any refund of the original delivery charge will be handled in accordance with your legal rights and the way the original delivery charge was calculated.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If you believe an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, use the returns form or contact info@laithathletics.com with your order number and details of the issue. We may ask for photographs where this is reasonable and useful, but this does not remove your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances and the time since purchase, UK consumer law may give you rights to reject goods for a refund, or to require a repair or replacement. For qualifying faulty goods, the short-term right to reject normally lasts 30 days. Other rights can continue after that period. Faults are never refused because the change-of-mind window has passed.
Products excluded from change-of-mind cancellation
Some categories of goods are legally excluded from the usual change-of-mind cancellation right, including certain sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, and personalised or made-to-order goods in relevant circumstances. If LAITH sells a product to which an exclusion applies, the restriction will be made clear before purchase. This does not remove rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods.
Promotional gifts
If a promotional gift forms part of an order and you cancel the qualifying order in full, the promotional gift should also be returned with the cancelled order. We will never charge you for a gift that isn't returned. The promotion terms explain any conditions that apply. Nothing in a promotion will limit your statutory rights.
