Cookie Policy
Version 1 · Last updated 5 October 2026
LAITH uses cookies and similar storage technologies to operate and improve laithathletics.com. This policy should be read with our Privacy Policy. You can change your choices at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from a device. Similar technologies include pixels, local storage, scripts and tags.
Categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Basket, checkout, security and remembering your cookie choices | Not required (essential to the service you request) |
| Analytics | Measuring use of the website (Google Analytics) | Only with your consent |
| Marketing | Measuring advertising campaigns (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) | Only with your consent |
Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories is switched on until you choose to allow it, and you can reject them as easily as accept them.
Cookies we set
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
la_basket | LAITH | Remembers the items in your basket (product and size only) | 30 days |
la_code | LAITH | Remembers a discount code you entered | 7 days |
la_consent | LAITH | Remembers your cookie choices | 6 months |
la_ref | LAITH | Remembers which creator link you arrived from, so they're credited for your order | 30 days |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment (set on the checkout page) | 1 year / 30 minutes |
m (on m.stripe.com) | Stripe | Fraud prevention during payment (set on the checkout page by Stripe's own domain) | 2 years |
If you accept analytics or marketing cookies, Google, Meta and/or TikTok may also set cookies (for example _ga, _fbp, _ttp), and we store a small note in your browser's local storage (la_purchase_<order number>) so a purchase is only counted once. Neither happens if you reject them. The full list, checked against the live website, is maintained here.
Your choices
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept, reject or customise analytics and marketing cookies, or to withdraw consent later. You can also use your browser's controls, although blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the basket and checkout working.
